CLARK ART INSTITUTE CONCLUDES ‘THE VIEW FROM HERE’ FILM SERIES AT IMAGES CINEMA

February 21, 2019

Williamstown, Massachusetts—“The View From Here,” a film series presented by the Clark Art Institute at Images Cinema in Williamstown, concludes on Saturday, March 9 at 2:30 pm with Leaning into the Wind (PG, 2018). Alexis Goodin, curator of the Clark’s special exhibition Turner and Constable: The Inhabited Landscape, introduces the film.

Tickets are $8 ($5 Clark and Images members) and may be purchased at the Images Box Office, located at 50 Spring Street, Williamstown.

A follow-up to the acclaimed Rivers and Tides, this new documentary is a vibrant journey through the diverse layers of British sculptor and environmentalist Andy Goldsworthy's world. From urban Edinburgh and London to the South of France and New England, each environment he encounters becomes a fresh kaleidoscopic canvas for his art. Goldsworthy’s work and Thomas Riedelsheimer’s exquisite cinematography redefine landscape and inextricably tie human life to the natural world.

Run time is 1 hour, 37 minutes.
