NEW PARENTS WELCOMED TO SPECIAL PROGRAM AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

For Immediate Release
October 17, 2018

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute offers its first New Parents Gallery Talk of the season, welcoming new parents and their infants on Friday, November 2 at 10:15 am. The free talk will be held in the permanent collection galleries; participants should meet at the admissions desk in the Clark Center. Strollers and front-style baby carriers are permitted.
The informal, guided gallery talk is designed to give parents a break from thinking about “all things baby” and is best suited for parents with pre-toddlers.

“Our program gives new parents a chance to get out of the house and add variety to their everyday routines—in the peaceful, welcoming environment of our galleries,” said Ronna Tulgan Ostheimer, the Clark’s director of education. “It’s never too early to introduce children to the wonders of museums, and we hope this program is the beginning of a long relationship between local families and the Clark.”

New Parents talks continue on select Fridays through March. For more details, visit clarkart.edu. This program is supported by generous funding from the officers and employees of Allen & Company, Inc.
