CLARK ART INSTITUTE TO AIR NATIONAL THEATRE OF LONDON’S ‘MACBETH’

April 27, 2018

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute airs the National Theatre of London production of Macbeth, William Shakespeare’s most intense and terrifying tragedy, on Saturday, May 12 at 2 pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $18 ($16 for Clark members) and may be purchased online at clarkart.edu or by calling the box office at 413 458 0524.

In the ruined aftermath of a bloody civil war, ruthlessly fighting to survive, the Macbeths are propelled toward the crown by forces of elemental darkness.

Directed by Rufus Norris (The Threepenny Opera, London Road), Macbeth stars Rory Kinnear (Young Marx, Othello) and Anne-Marie Duff (Oil, Suffragette) as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.
