Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute airs Cézanne: Portrait of a Life, a film by Exhibition on Screen, on Saturday, March 17 at 3 pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $12 ($10 for Clark members) and may be purchased online at clarkart.edu or by calling the box office at 413 458 0524. Run time is 1 hour, 25 minutes.

Directed by Phil Grabsky, the film features interviews with curators and experts from the National Portrait Gallery, London; Museum of Modern Art, New York; National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC; and Musée d’Orsay, Paris—as well as correspondence from the artist himself. Cézanne: Portrait of a Life takes audiences beyond the exhibition to the places Cézanne lived and worked and sheds light on an artist who is perhaps, until now, the least-known of all the Impressionists.
