CLARK ART INSTITUTE TO HOST ANNUAL TRAILBLAZER 5K

Williamstown, Massachusetts—The Clark Art Institute hosts the second annual Stone Hill Trailblazer 5K Run on Saturday, October 14 at 8 am. Registration is $32.00 ($27.00 for Clark members). Register before September 23 to save $5. Ages 12 and under are free.

The 5K trail run is a great way to explore both the Clark's campus trails and the interconnected trails maintained by the town of Williamstown. The race features individual timed results and is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Run to set a Clark record or walk to enjoy the natural surroundings of Stone Hill.

Awards will be given to the top male and female runners in age groups. The race is a rain or shine event and will only be canceled in the event of severe weather conditions.

The Stone Hill Trailblazer 5K is sponsored by MountainOne. Race partner Nature's Closet presents a race-day market, and Be Fit Co. leads stretching exercises before and after the race.

ABOUT THE CLARK

The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. Opened in 1955, the Clark houses exceptional European and American paintings and sculpture, extensive collections of master prints and drawings, English silver, and early photography. Acting as convener through its Research and Academic Program, the Clark gathers an international community of scholars to participate in a lively program of conferences, colloquia, and workshops on topics of vital importance to the visual arts.
