For Immediate Release
September 18, 2017

Williamstown, Massachusetts—Meet up with friends and colleagues at Clark After Hours, a program held at the Clark Art Institute’s Lunder Center at Stone Hill, on Thursday, October 5 at 7 pm. The multi-sensory art experience, illuminated by the work of Abstract Expressionist painter Helen Frankenthaler and the light of the full harvest moon, offers a last chance to explore the special exhibition As in Nature: Helen Frankenthaler Paintings, create a signature scent, and listen to live music. Tickets are $10 and include complimentary snacks; there will be a cash bar. To reserve, visit clarkart.edu or call 413 458 0524.

Pittsfield singer-songwriter Dane Christopher, a guitarist for the indie band The Chain Letter, provides the evening’s entertainment. Christopher’s music is curated by local independent label Sounds & Tones Records. Members of Clark staff will be on hand to help participants create a signature scent inspired by the natural world and Frankenthaler’s evocative work.

As in Nature is on view through October 9, 2017.
