YOGA CLASSES FOR SENIORS OFFERED AT CLARK ART INSTITUTE

Williamstown, Massachusetts—Certified yoga instructor Mary Edgerton leads a series of yoga classes specially designed for seniors on Tuesdays, September 22, September 29, October 6, and October 13 at 11 am at the Clark Art Institute. Classes will be held at the Hunter Studio in the Lunder Center at Stone Hill on the Clark’s campus. The cost is $40 for all four classes ($30 members), or drop in for $12 per class ($8 members). The four-week class explores visualization techniques and meditation to reduce stress and encourage a greater sense of peaceful well-being. Edgerton instructs seniors how to stretch and tone muscles, safely explore greater mobility in the joints, improve balance, and more. Seniors of all different levels in mobility or flexibility can participate in this chair-based yoga class. No experience required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.

ABOUT THE CLARK
