Roula Matar is an architect and associate professor of History and Architectural Cultures at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture (ENSA) in Versailles, France. Her research focuses on site-specific work, the relations between art and architecture, the history of exhibition spaces, and museum architecture. She has published L'architecture selon Gordon Matta-Clark (2022) and her forthcoming book focuses on James Johnson Sweeney’s museum ideas (2025).
