Michael Kelly is chair of the department of philosophy at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is author of Iconoclasm in Aesthetics (Cambridge, 2003), editor of Action, Art, History: Engagements with Arthur C. Danto (New York, 2007) as well as numerous edited books, articles, and chapters on aesthetic and political philosophers ranging from Danto to Foucault and Habermas. Kelly has also written extensively on the relationship between art, aesthetics, and art history. His Clark project will continue in this vein as it concerns the regeneration of aesthetics and the moral-political and cognitive effects of artistic and computer imagery.
