A Person, in a Place, with a Thing—Your Photos
Since its invention, photography has captured the essence of people, places, and things. The tools have changed over time, but the goal remains the same: to engage with the world around us. In conjunction with the exhibition Photography and Discovery, the Clark invites you to enter into dialogue with the earliest photographs in our collection by submitting your photos of a person, in a place, with a thing. For example, it could be an image of your friend holding an apple in the Mojave Desert. Your photographs will be displayed on a screen adjacent to the exhibition and in an album on the Clark’s Facebook page. To submit, upload your photo to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #clarkphoto or email your photo to [email protected].
