Provenance
Possibly with Léon Marion et Fils, Paris; sold to Robert Sterling Clark by July 1923.¹ 1. An entry in Clark's diary dated 30 July 1923 refers to a hot-water urn that he had purchased at "Mme. Marion's" for $150. Raymond Guille told him it was worth $800–900; Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute Archives.
