Ariel Kline

Ariel Kline will join the faculty as assistant professor of Modern in the Department of Art and Art History at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, in fall 2025. She received her PhD from Princeton University in 2024, and her MA from Williams College in 2017, where she was awarded the Clark Graduate Student Prize for her thesis “Listening to His Master’s Voice.” At the Clark, Kline will conduct research for her book project, titled Of Monsters and Mirrors: Art and Empire in Nineteenth-Century Britain.
