Learn more about the Clark's recent acquisitions and reinterpretation work as we celebrate art, change, and expanding narratives this Juneteenth. From 11 am–1 pm, view photographs showing Black perseverance and dignity in the United States during the mid-nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in the Manton Study Center for Works on Paper. Head into the galleries at 10:15 am or 1 pm for an educator-led tour showcasing how museums change the stories they tell, and how works of art can inspire a more dynamic and inclusive understanding of the past. The morning tour is designed for adults; the afternoon tour is open to visitors of all ages. Stop by the Museum Pavilion between 1–3 pm to create a self-portrait and experiment with all the different ways you would like to be portrayed. The Clark’s 140-acre campus is a perfect space for community gathering and self-reflection.
Free. Educator-led tours are free with gallery admission. Capacity is limited. Meet in the Museum Pavilion.
