SOLD OUT.

The Manton Study Center for Works on Paper welcomes artists of all experience and skill levels to find inspiration in thematic selections from the Clark’s collection of works on paper. April’s theme, “Works in Progress,” features prints and drawings produced by artists in preparation for more finished compositions. These studies and experiments with form, composition, and shading provide insight into artists’ processes and how they thought through complex designs. Enjoy an open session to participate in the tradition of copying earlier artworks or choose to practice fundamentals and explore ideas.

Basic materials are provided. Artists bringing their own supplies should note that only graphite pencils are allowed in the Study Center.

Free. Advance registration required; capacity is limited. For accessibility concerns, call 413 549 0524.
