Adult Group Visits
The Clark looks forward to working with your group! Please contact the Education Department Coordinator, by email or by phone, 413 458 0563, with questions or to make a reservation.
We offer the following options for adult groups:
- Self-guided — Members of your group explore the Clark's collections, exhibitions, and grounds on their own. A variety of materials are available on-site to enhance the experience including a multimedia guide that can be rented for free. The ClarkArt Mobile app can also be downloaded for free onto your iPhone or Android phone. For iPads, download the free app here.
- Educator-led tours — Groups can arrange for a guided experience through the permanent collection or one of the Clark's special exhibitions led by a specially-trained docent. Guided tours are $50 per group of 20 people (in addition to the cost of admission). Group limits will be strictly enforced to ensure visitor and staff safety. Reservations for educator-led tours should be made at least four weeks in advance.
- Digital engagements — For groups that cannot make it to the Clark in person, customized digital engagements are available. Popular topics include All about The Clark, A Focus on Impressionism, and American Art. This digital format allows for a “deep dive” experience, including close-up looks at details, preparatory drawings, and other related works. Digital engagements are $50 and require a minimum of four weeks' notice.
Private dining facilities are available for groups booking lunches through the Clark’s catering group, Constellation Catering. Groups bringing their own lunches are welcome to use picnic tables found seasonally in multiple locations on the Clark’s campus, but there are no reserved seating arrangements.
Check our exhibitions page for special exhibitions your group may enjoy and be sure to leave additional time to visit the Museum Store. You may also want to allow time to hike on our well-maintained nature trails.
