As both an art museum and a center for research and higher education, the Clark considers volunteers an integral part of the special museum experience provided by our visitor services team. Clark volunteers may have a passion for art, enjoy sharing Berkshire hospitality with museum guests, and/or consider volunteering the perfect opportunity to support the Institute.
Prospective volunteers must complete a volunteer application and be willing to commit to required minimum hours. They should be, or become, a member
of the Clark. If accepted, new volunteers complete an orientation process and participate in year-round training sessions.
Each prospective volunteer is paired with an experienced volunteer to learn by “shadowing.” Following a successful completion of the training period, a volunteer will be offered the opportunity to fill an information desk opening. For more information, contact the manager of visitor services at 413 458 0592 to discuss your interests, skills, and availability.
