Artist Talk on Intersections of Sound, Sculpture, and Theater
Wednesday, November 30, 2022
5:30 PM–7:00 PM
In this Research and Academic Program talk, artist Sergei Tcherepnin (Bennington College) discusses his creative practice and recent work that blurs the lines between sound, sculpture, and theater. These scenarios actively engage spectator participation, suggesting new possibilities for intimacy with sound, where “listening” involves more expansive states of activity.
Presented in person in the Clark auditorium. This event is free with a reception in the Manton Research Center Reading Room starting at 5 pm.
