Drawing Closer: Portraiture

February 8, 2019

10:30 AM-11:30 AM

Manton Study Center for Works on Paper

The Manton Study Center for Works on Paper invites artists of all experiences and skill levels to work closely after thematic selections of drawings from the Clark’s collection. Each month explores a different theme—still life (January), portraiture (February), and landscape (March). Enjoy an open hour to participate in the artistic tradition of copying original drawings, or choose to practice fundamentals, sketch from life, or explore new ideas. Basic materials are provided; artists bringing their own supplies should note that only graphite pencils are allowed in the Study Center and museum galleries.

Space is limited to 12 participants; reservations required.
