Drawn to Greatness focuses on pivotal moments in the history of drawing, highlighting 150 exceptional works from the Eugene V. Thaw Collection. The exhibition considers the shifting technologies, functions, and markets for drawing across five centuries. In this talk, Senior Curator Esther Bell discusses French drawings of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
