Williamstown, Massachusetts—Introduce your baby to the colors and shapes found in a museum gallery at the Clark Art Institute’s New Parents Gallery Talk on Friday, March 2 at 10:15 am. The guided talk is informal and designed to give parents a break from thinking about “all things baby.”

“It’s always been a priority for us to connect young families with the Clark, because we see it as the beginning of a long-term relationship,” said Director of Adult, School, and Community Programs Ronna Tulgan Ostheimer. “Families can grow with our programming, which we design for all ages and stages.”

Tulgan Ostheimer added that it’s never too young for children to exercise their visual awareness skills—and that babies enjoy the company of other babies. “The museum is truly a place where all people, including babies, belong,” she said.
New Parents Gallery Talks are best suited for parents with pre-toddlers. Strollers and front-style baby carriers are permitted.
This program is supported by funding from the officers and employees of Allen & Company, Inc.

The Clark Art Institute, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, is one of a small number of institutions globally that is both an art museum and a center for research, critical discussion, and higher education in the visual arts. The Clark library, consisting of more than 270,000 volumes, is one of the nation’s premier art history libraries. The Clark also houses and co-sponsors the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art.
