This summer the Clark is the North American exclusive venue for Picasso Looks at Degas, a ground-breaking exhibition that explores Pablo Picasso’s life-long fascination with the life and work of Edgar Degas. The Clark’s Stone Hill Center will provide a unique environment in which to experience Spanish sculptor Juan Muñoz’s immersive works.
This summer, BSO Music Director James Levine opens the season on July 9 with Mahler's Symphony No 2, Resurrection, a concert performance of Mozart's opera The Abduction from the Seraglio on July 23, and more Mahler later in the season. BSO Music Director Laureate Seiji Ozawa returns in July, and there is a rich slate of artists celebrating four notable anniversaries including the 70th Anniversary of the Tanglewood Music Center, the 40th Anniversary of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the 125th Anniversary of the Boston Pops, and conductor/composer John Williams’ 30th summer at Tanglewood. See more details of the season at tanglewood.org.
