Planned Giving

Providing for the Clark in the years ahead is one of the most generous gifts an individual can make. Your planned gift helps ensure that the Clark will continue to serve the many families, students, and scholars who visit each year. With your gift, you’ll become part of the Founders’ Society, which recognizes those individuals who have disclosed in writing their intention to leave a bequest or make other planned gifts in support of the Clark.

Your planned gift can be mutually beneficial for you and the Clark:

Legacy or Estate Gifts

Enable donors to affect the lives of the people and institutions about which they care. Wills and living trusts can be especially useful for individuals who cannot currently make large gifts, as well as those who have already made significant gifts. Some estate plans employ trusts, gifts of retirement plan assets, or life insurance proceeds.

Life Income Gifts

Allow donors to make a charitable gift now, while still providing for themselves and/or selected beneficiaries. Examples include charitable remainder trusts, charitable gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, or deferred payment gift annuities.

Other Gift Considerations

Include gifts of securities, works of art, real estate, and other tangible property.
