Jacques-Henri Lartigue was only seventeen when he carried his large box camera into the Bois de Boulogne in Paris and produced a series of snapshots of promenading women. Woman wearing foxes, Bois de Boulogne reveals Lartigue as an astute observer of contemporary life, distilling in an instant the essence of the Belle Epoque.
