From time to time, some works of art may be temporarily off view. As part of the worldwide museum community, the Clark lends works of art to other institutions and to traveling exhibitions. In addition, works may need to be removed temporarily for conservation reasons or while a gallery is refurbished. The following pages contain a partial sampling of works that are currently off view.
