Tickets to Clark's Impression Exhibition go on sale today

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA, (March 1, 2001) - Advance tickets to the summer exhibition Impression: Painting Quickly in France, 1860-1890 at the Clark Art Institute go on sale today. Tickets to Impression, on view June 17 through September 9, are $10 for adults; admission will be free for children under eighteen. Due to the popular nature of the exhibition entry will be by timed ticket only. Tickets can be obtained by calling toll-free 866-THE-CLARK (866-843-2527) or over the internet at http://www.clarkart.edu/exhibitions/paintingquickly/. Tickets go on sale at the Clark on April 1.
Impression will be open every day from June 17 to September 9. The galleries will be open Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday through Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to Impression includes all permanent collection galleries. Regular admission prices ($5 July 1-October 31) will apply for anyone wishing to see the permanent collection only.
Members of the Clark Art Institute will be issued free tickets to Impression, good for any time of their choosing, depending on their level of support. For more information on membership, call 413-458-2303, extension 259.
