Take a Closer Look at Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s The Warrior on July 14 at the Clark

The next Looking at Lunchtime Gallery Talk at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 12:30 p.m. Michael Cassin, the Clark’s curator of education, will discuss Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s The Warrior. The talk is free with gallery admission.
This popular series, held the second Thursday of each month, features a Clark curator or special guest highlighting a piece in the Clark’s collection. Attendees are welcomed to purchase lunch from the Coffee Cart, enjoy the new eatery Jae’s at the Clark, or bring a bag lunch. During next month’s gallery talk on August 11, Sarah Lees, assistant curator of paintings, will discuss Pierre Auguste Renoir’s Marie-Thérèse Durand-Ruel Sewing.
The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The galleries are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in July and August (closed Mondays September through June). Admission June 1 through October 31 is $10 for adults, free for children 18 and under, members, and students with valid ID. Admission is free November through May.
