Next "Artist Cafe" Will Be January 20

The "Artist Café" series at the Clark will continue on Thursday, January 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. Hosted by Danielle Steinmann, assistant curator of education, the Artist Café combines a cocktail hour with an intimate slide talk in a cabaret-style setting. Each program features "the scoop" on a different artist and a signature cocktail. The program for January 20 will be "The Passionate Life of Winslow," with Homer Seabreezes. Admission is $15, which includes the talk, light snacks, after-hours access to the galleries, and featured cocktail or beer and wine. Admission is free to members. Upcoming topics will be "The Cowboy Life of Frederic Remington" with Remington 'Ritas on February 3, and "The Cosmopolitan Life of Mary Cassatt" with Cassatt Cosmopolitans on February 17. Each talk will begin at 6:30 with social time before and after.

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Massachusetts.  The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5p.m. Gallery admission is free through May. For more information call 413-458-2303 or visit www.clarkart.edu.
