Clark Mini-Course to Give "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About The Renaissance..."

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute will offer the four-part mini-course, "Everything You Always Wanted to Know about the Renaissance, but Were Afraid to Ask," on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m., beginning November 3. The four sessions will introduce adults to Renaissance art. Instructor Michael Cassin, curator of education, will discuss Europe in the late Middle Ages, 15th- and 16th-century Italy, and the Renaissance north of the Alps. Registration for the full course is $22 ($15 for members). Individual sessions can be attended for $6 ($4 for members). To register, call the Education Department at 413-458-0563.

Wednesday, November 3: "A World of Signs and Wonders: Europe in the Late Middle Ages"
Wednesday, December 1: "A New Beginning: The 15th Century in Italy"
Wednesday, January 5: "Leonard to Carvaggio: Italian Art in the 16th Century"
Wednesday, February 2: "A Different View: The World North of the Alps"
