Gallery Talk On Renoir's Bay Of Naples April 10

Senior curator Richard Rand will give a half-hour gallery talk at the Clark Art Institute on Thursday, April 10, at 12:30 pm. The topic for the lunchtime program is the painting Bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the Background (1881) by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Admission is free.

The talk is part of the series "Desert Island Pictures," in which Clark curators talk about favorite works of art they would want with them "if stranded on a desert island." Desert Island Picture talks are offered on the second Thursday of each month. Lunch is available at the Clark café before or after the program.
