Caramoor Virtuosi to Perform at the Clark May 5

The Caramoor Virtuosi will perform at the Clark Art Institute on Sunday, May 5, at 3:00 p.m. On the program are Four Pieces for Piano Quartet by Richard Strauss, Duo for Violin and Cello (1925) by Erwin Schulhoff, and Piano Quartet in A Major, Opus 26, by Johannes Brahms. Tickets are $10 ($8 for members and students). To order tickets, call 413-458-2303, extension 324. Tickets are also on sale at the Clark museum shop and at the door.
The ensemble members are all alumni of the Rising Stars Program at the Caramoor International Music Festival in Katonah, New York. The program identifies and trains some of the finest musicians of the next generation. Performing at the Clark will be: Adam Neiman, piano; Jennifer Frautschi, violin; Xiao-Dong Wang, viola; and Edward Arron, cello.
