Marc Erelli To Perform At The Clark July 23

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - Singer-songwriter Mark Erelli will give a free outdoor concert at the Clark Art Institute on Tuesday, July 23, at 6:00 p.m. The concert is the last in this year's series of performances on the Clark's South Lawn. Visitors are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs. Children receive free balloons. The Clark café also has a variety of food options available for the concert, including sandwiches, cheese samplers, beverages, and ice cream. The Clark galleries will remain open until the start of the concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the auditorium.

Mark Erelli has been called "one of the most versatile, tuneful new singer/songwriters" by The Boston Herald. He won the Kerrville New Fold contest in 1999. His recent CD Compass and Companion was hailed by The Washington Post as "superb....an expertly crafted, beautifully produced collection of songs that displays his gifts as a writer. Moreover, it spotlights a versatility that allows him to move with ease from folk to rock to country."
