The Clark

225 South St
Williamstown, MA 01267

Inspired by the hundreds of edit-a-thons hosted by the New York-based organization Art+Feminism over the past four years in museums and libraries around the world, the Clark invites you to join fellow art historians and art lovers in the reading room for an all-day communal updating of Wikipedia entries on art and feminism—including more than fifty women artists in the Clark’s permanent collection. Throughout the day, instructors provide tutorials for beginner Wikipedians, reference materials, and encouragement. Training sessions are scheduled for 11:30 am, 1 pm, and 2:30 pm. Bring your laptop, power cord, and ideas for entries that need updating or creation. Please create a Wikipedia account before the event.‎

For the editing-averse, we welcome you to stop by to show your support and enjoy other activities at the museum as part of the Clark’s First Sundays Free program. The event is free, but please RSVP. Click the box at right to let us know you're coming!
