Director's Office Intern

40 hours per week ($11/hour)
 
 
Position Summary
 
In completing assignments, the Director’s Office intern deals with highly sensitive and confidential information regarding patrons, donors, trustees, and staff. The intern must possess good organizational ability, attention to detail, and use good judgement. The Clark requires the intern to sign a confidentiality agreement and attend a detailed orientation of the Director’s Office function/purpose. The intern reports to the Assistant to the Director and works on various projects and assignments within the Director’s Office. The intern is part of the Director’s Office team and will be asked to answer phones, assist VIP guests, and act as a point person for the director when necessary.
 
Tasks may include:

- Researching material or images for presentations, lectures or classes

- Obtaining details regarding international events/conferences

- Researching US and international museum/organization/institute hours and obtaining information regarding proper staff contact

- Creating summary worksheets on information regarding VIP visits, constituent contact information, and other material

- Verifying/confirming/updating Director’s Office electronic records and files

Additional tasks/projects can be assigned by the Director, Executive Coordinator, and Special Assistant along with requests from the Advancement, Curatorial, Communication, and Education departments.
